Operations Manager (m/f/x)

 

Who we are looking for

As a part of our operation department you are in charge of operating our own multisize fleet or chartered vessels. You’ll interact with our crew on board and our local customers and international suppliers on a daily basis. In order to ensure a smooth daily routine on our vessels, you’ll also coordinate with external technical departments and report to the management.

You are primarily involved in the following tasks:

• Operational handling of seagoing vessels on time charter and voyage charter basis
• Organization of the handling of ships in port
• Documentation on daily operational basis
• Data maintenance, market analysis and international reporting

 

Required qualifications

• Succesfully completed traineeship or shipping degree
• At least 3 years of experience in operation dry cargo vessels  
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word & Excel) and safe handling of common pc applications
• Cooperative and team-oriented way of working, initiative and a quick grasp
