This year’s Eisbein Week was a truly remarkable celebration of maritime partnership and international exchange. With South Africa as the official partner country, the tradition expanded beyond Hamburg for the first time, bringing the Eisbein spirit to two continents simultaneously.

The week began with our Pre-Eisbein Company Dinner, at which we welcomed many valued guests. The evening provided the perfect opportunity to reconnect, strengthen partnerships, and enjoy inspiring conversations in a warm and festive atmosphere at the "Hafen-Klub" right by the Elbe river.

This was followed by the big Eisbein Event at the Hotel Elysee in Hamburg, where long-standing friends of the maritime industry came together to celebrate a cherished tradition. The new setting, lively exchanges, and shared enthusiasm once again made the event a highlight of the year.

Meanwhile, in Durban, the Eisbein Dinner took place for the very first time, held in parallel to the Hamburg gathering. With South Africa as this year’s partner country, our colleagues of UNIATLANTICO South Africa and Namibia — joined by invited guests and partners from across the region — embraced the opportunity to bring this maritime tradition to new shores. The positive reception reaffirmed the strong and growing ties between our teams and partners on both continents.

We are already looking forward to next year — to new encounters, new ideas, and the same welcoming energy that continues to make this tradition so special.
